Quick answer
Buying a Lotte World ticket is easier once you separate two decisions. First, choose the admission ticket that covers the park time and extras you actually want. Then decide whether a Magic Pass, which is a separate paid queue product, is worth adding for your date and priority rides.
The Magic Pass is not park admission, and it is not a promise of zero waiting. The current products give five uses from a defined set of attractions, while some headline rides have repeat limits or are excluded. That makes the right choice less about buying the most expensive option and more about matching the pass to a short ride list.
Prices and rules in this guide were checked on September 16, 2026. Recheck the official ticket and Magic Pass pages before paying because the lineup, prices, purchase windows, eligible rides, and daily inventory can change.
Quick answer: choose admission first, then treat the Magic Pass as optional
For most first-time visitors, the admission decision comes down to three questions:
- Do you want a full park day or entry after 4 p.m.?
- Do you want the Korean Folk Museum included?
- Is a direct ticket, a bundle from a ticket provider, or a city attraction pass better for your existing itinerary?
Once admission is settled, consider a Magic Pass only when all of these are true:
- Several rides you genuinely care about are eligible for the exact Magic Pass tier.
- Your park time is limited enough that shorter queues would change the day.
- The current price is acceptable even if one ride closes or retains some waiting.
- Everyone who needs priority access can buy and use an individual pass on a suitable phone.
Skip the Magic Pass when the group is flexible, prefers shows and family attractions with less queue pressure, has only one or two eligible must-rides, or would be disappointed if an outdoor ride stopped because of weather.
Compare the current admission ticket options before choosing
Lotte World Adventure currently sells two official admission families. Each has a 1 Day version and a lower-priced After4 version valid after 4 p.m.
| Official admission | Adult 1 Day | Adult After4 | What it includes | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All-Access Pass | ₩67,000 | ₩55,000 | Lotte World Adventure admission and rides, excluding separately paid facilities, plus the Korean Folk Museum | A visitor who wants the museum or prefers one combined official ticket |
| Park Pass | ₩64,000 | ₩52,000 | Lotte World Adventure admission and rides, excluding separately paid facilities | A visitor focused on the amusement park rather than the museum |
The two adult products currently differ by a small amount, but the museum only adds value if you will actually make time for it. The official page notes that the museum closes admission earlier than the park, so an After4 visitor should check whether the remaining museum window works before paying for that inclusion.
Age bands also matter. The official page currently defines adults as 19 and older, youth as 13 through 18, children as 36 months through 12 years, and babies as over 12 months but under 36 months. Bring proof of age when using an infant rate. Children under 12 months receive free park access and the listed infant facilities, but family groups should still check each ride’s height and age rules before choosing a ticket around a child’s wish list.
Third-party sellers may offer direct-entry tickets, exchange vouchers, or bundles with the aquarium or Seoul Sky. Do not compare only the headline price. Open the exact option and check:
- whether it is admission to Lotte World Adventure in Seoul, not Busan;
- whether entry is direct or requires a ticket exchange;
- whether the option is a plain park ticket or a bundle;
- the valid date, age category, cancellation deadline, and re-entry rules;
- whether “Magic Pass” appears as a real included option or merely as a separate upgrade.
Lotte World Adventure, Lotte World Aquarium, Seoul Sky, and Lotte World Mall are neighboring but separate places. A ticket mentioning “Lotte World” does not automatically admit you to all of them.
A workable purchase path for a foreign visitor
Start with the official ticket page’s Book Now route or the official app’s mobile ticketing. If an account, language, or international-card problem stops the checkout, do not assume the booking succeeded. Use one of two fallbacks:
- Buy through the official on-site ticket counters or kiosks shown on the guide map. The daily page says ticket sales and admission normally close one hour before park closing, but arriving near that deadline would leave little time for the park.
- Choose a verified third-party product and read the exact selected option. The current Klook listing, for example, separates a labeled direct-entry option from packages that require a mobile voucher and passport to collect a physical ticket at the Wild Tour Gate.
Save the confirmation or voucher the seller actually issues and follow its entry instructions. The official admission page warns that a mobile capture screen is not accepted where a real ticket is required, so a screenshot is not a safe universal backup.
Understand the Magic Pass before deciding whether it saves enough time
Magic Pass is a separate, date-specific product that lets its holder use a dedicated waiting line on eligible attractions. It does not replace an All-Access Pass, Park Pass, or annual pass.
The official page currently lists four five-use products:
| Magic Pass | Current price | Uses | Purchase pattern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | ₩54,000 | 5 | Same-day app sale |
| Standard A | ₩65,000 | 5 | Same-day app sale |
| Standard B | ₩65,000 | 5 | Same-day app sale |
| Premium | ₩80,000 | 5 | Advance or same-day app sale |
The difference is not simply “basic versus luxury.” Each tier has its own eligible-attraction set. On the official Magic Pass page, use the “Go see the attraction” control under the ticket options, select Light, Standard A, Standard B, or Premium, and compare that live list with your personal ride shortlist. A less expensive tier that covers four real priorities can be more useful than Premium if the extra eligible rides do not interest you.
There is no universal crowd threshold that makes the Magic Pass worthwhile. Use a personal time-value test instead:
- Write down up to five priority uses you would regret missing. These may not be five distinct rides because repeat limits vary.
- Remove any ride that is excluded, restricted for someone in the group, or absent from the exact tier.
- Estimate conservatively how much useful park time the dedicated lines could save. Do not assume zero waiting.
- Decide what one saved hour is worth to your group.
- Buy only when the value of the plausible time saved comfortably exceeds the pass price, even after one uncertain ride is removed.
This test can give different answers within the same group. A thrill-ride visitor with only one day may value five eligible uses highly. A parent whose child cannot meet the height rules for those rides may get very little value from the same product.
Buy through the current app window and keep a sold-out fallback
Lotte World currently sells Magic Pass in limited daily quantities through its official app. Premium can be reserved from midnight two days before the visit until 11:59 p.m. the day before. The current same-day window for all four products begins at 8:30 a.m.; the operator may adjust later release times and quantities according to on-site conditions.
Limited inventory means a sold-out result is possible. Do not let that cancel the entire Lotte World day. Keep three layers in the plan:
- Start with a valid admission ticket and a confirmed entry or exchange method.
- If Magic Pass inventory is available, use the exact tier and eligible priority rides you chose in advance.
- Keep a no-pass route with one opening-hour priority, one indoor group, and one flexible show or family attraction.
Each Magic Pass belongs to one actual user. It cannot be shared across a group or gifted, and app-issued passes cannot be reissued as paper tickets. The current purchase limit is four passes per buyer for the same visit date. If the party is larger, confirm the account and purchase rules before assuming one person can arrange everything.
A working smartphone camera is also part of the product requirement because the pass uses QR scanning. Charge the phone, keep the app accessible, and do not rely on a screenshot or a second person’s device as an unverified fallback.
Check ride coverage and usage limits before paying
A five-use pass is valuable only when five usable moments remain after restrictions are applied.
The current official rules allow no more than one Magic Pass use on each of these rides:
- Atlantis
- Comet Express
- French Revolution
- Flume Ride
- The Fury of the Pharaoh
The current excluded list includes KONG x GODZILLA THE RIDE, Lotty Train, arcades, Tomb of Horror, Moon Boat, and other listed paid experience facilities. Eligibility can also change by Magic Pass tier, so treat this as a restriction check rather than a permanent complete list.
Magic Pass use may be restricted when a ride is under inspection, temporarily suspended, affected by weather, or no longer accepting its waiting line. The official terms also warn that some waiting can remain. In other words, the product provides access to a dedicated line under current operating conditions; it does not insure the ride against closure and does not guarantee immediate boarding.
For families, apply the ride’s own height, age, and health restrictions before assigning one of the five uses. A ride that appears in the tier but cannot be used by the intended traveler contributes no value.
Build one route across Adventure and Magic Island
Lotte World has several distinct areas. The official map divides attractions across indoor Adventure, outdoor Magic Island, Underland, and Kidizone. Crossing between zones repeatedly can consume the time the Magic Pass was meant to protect.

Choose the route from the group’s most failure-prone priority:
- When outdoor headline rides matter most, check the day’s weather and operating notice first. If those rides are open and conditions are stable, group the Magic Island priorities together rather than leaving and returning repeatedly.
- When conditions are uncertain, build the day around indoor Adventure and Underland, with Magic Island as an optional block rather than the foundation of the ticket’s value.
- With younger children, start with the official height and age filters, then group eligible Kidizone and family attractions. Do not build the plan from an adult thrill-ride list.
- With After4 admission, keep the list short. Evening entry reduces the hours available to recover both the admission and Magic Pass cost.
Download the current English guide map before the visit. On the day, reopen the official Today’s Park page for hours and closures. A saved map helps with orientation, while the live page decides whether the planned ride is actually operating.
Understand the cancellation risk before buying the add-on
The current Magic Pass refund rules are stricter than a flexible sightseeing ticket.
- An advance reservation can currently be canceled until 11:30 p.m. the day before use.
- A same-day purchase is fully refundable within two hours of purchase.
- After that two-hour window, the current policy applies a 100% cancellation penalty.
- Same-day nonuse, a personal change of mind, unplanned safety maintenance, or weather-related suspension does not automatically create a refund right.
That matters most when the pass value depends on one outdoor attraction. If losing that ride would make the purchase feel wasted, wait until the day’s operating picture is clearer or keep the no-pass plan.
Admission tickets and third-party vouchers can have different cancellation rules. Read the terms for the exact seller and option rather than applying the Magic Pass policy to every ticket in the booking.
Final purchase and visit-day checklist
Before buying admission:
- Choose All-Access or Park Pass based on whether the Korean Folk Museum matters.
- Choose 1 Day or After4 based on the hours you will realistically use.
- Compare official admission with the exact third-party option, including exchange and cancellation conditions.
- Apply the correct age category and check the group’s ride restrictions.
Before adding Magic Pass:
- Confirm that it is separate from admission.
- Match the exact tier to up to five genuine priority rides.
- Remove excluded, unsuitable, or weather-sensitive rides from the value calculation.
- Accept that some waiting can remain.
- Confirm that each user has a valid individual pass and workable phone setup.
On the visit day:
- Check Today’s Park for hours and ride closures.
- Recheck Magic Island conditions before committing to an outdoor-first route.
- Keep the indoor or no-pass fallback even if a Magic Pass was purchased.
- Preserve the cancellation window until the operating picture and group plan are clear.
Buy admission because you want a Lotte World day. Add Magic Pass only when the exact tier protects enough of that day to justify its separate cost.
Review Lotte World ticket options for your date
By this point, you should know whether you need a 1 Day or After4 admission ticket, whether the Korean Folk Museum matters, and whether Magic Pass is worth considering separately.
