About

foruplan is a travel decision guide for people planning an independent trip for the first time. It helps readers compare price, travel time, routes, trade-offs, and booking conditions so they can choose accommodation, transport, and tickets that fit their own trip.

Decisions before lists

Travel information is easy to find. The harder part is deciding which information matters for a particular trip. foruplan starts with the people traveling together, the journeys they will repeat, the difficulty of transfers with luggage, and what should be checked before payment.

Current coverage

English-language guides currently focus on Seoul, South Korea, for first-time international visitors choosing where to stay, how to travel from the airport, how to get around, and which itineraries or tickets fit their plans.

Korean-language guides currently focus on Osaka, Japan, for Korean-speaking travelers making accommodation, airport-transfer, itinerary, transport, and ticket decisions. The two publications are planned separately for their readers rather than produced as direct translations.

Local context and desk research

The English guides are reviewed with Korean local context. A page is described as firsthand experience only when a visit, stay, ride, or photograph actually took place. Other guides use desk research from official transport operators, airports, tourism organizations, hotels, attractions, and approved booking providers.

How recommendations work

Each recommendation should explain who it fits, why it fits, what may not work, and what to verify before paying. Affiliate commission does not determine the order of recommendations.
